Bianchi frame optimization process is a full set of factors. These key elements work together to create a product that fits the project requirements. Bianchi classifies factors in three macro areas: structural stiffness, material technology and performance tuning. The first includes every procedure to improve torsional stiffness enhancing efficiency without adding weight. Material research considers screening, evaluation and application of every technology that improve composite materials qualities enhancing frame cycle of life. Last area includes every solution that tunes bike and user performance. For example, it consists of technologies that improve pedaling performance shock and impact resistance giving more compliance and energy saving without stiffness reduction.
Countervail® Vibration Cancelling Composite Technology

Bianchi collaborated with Materials Sciences Corporation to develop our innovative and exclusive application of the patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling. Scientific studies prove that long term exposure to vibration, typically absorbed by the rider, causes muscle fatigue and discomfort, resulting in reduced performance.



Traditional passive damping of the frame using superficial rubber inserts and isolators are only marginally effective compared to the integrated carbon Countervail® system developed by Bianchi and proven in the extreme conditions of NASA aerospace operations.With its patented carbon fiber architecture, Countervail® carbon material, embedded within our unique Specialissinma, Oltre XR4, Infinito CV, Aquila CV and Methanol CV carbon lay-up, immediately cancels vibration while increasing the stiffness and strength of the entire frame.
