Team Bianchi Countervail’s Stephane Tempier, Nadir Colledani e Chiara Teocchi warm-up for the Aprutium Race, Internazionali d'Italia Series round 4, to be held in Pineto (Italy) on Sunday, May 5th. Winner of the first two rounds, Andora Cup and Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race, Tempier aims for coming back to success after the tenth position at Titano XCO. The Frenchman leads the Men Open GC with 86 points, 16 more than Gerhard Kerschbaumer. "My goal is to ride in the top positions and possibly win the race, to further strengthen the GC lead" Tempier said.
Third overall with 63 points, Colledani wishes to deliver another excellent performance after the superb runner-up spot at Titano XCO, ahead of the Olympic and World champion Nino Schurter. Sixth placed in San Marino after some weeks without racing, Chiara Teocchi will try to make up places in the Women's Open classification.
The Internazionali d'Italia Series round 4 will be held on a 4,2 km course with a 175-meter difference in altitude. The Women's race with Teocchi will start at noon, the Men's race with Tempier and Colledani at 2.30 pm CET.
