Team Bianchi Countervail's Nadir Colledani and Chiara Teocchi will enter 40th GP Guerciotti - CX Italian Championships, to be held in Milan's Idroscalo (Italy) on Sunday, January 12th-13th, with high ambitions. Equipped with Zolder Pro disc, and coming off a short but successful cyclocross season, both the riders managed by Massimo Ghirotto will look to step on the podium, as high as they can.
Twice Men's U23 National champion, fifth last year in Rome's Capannelle Hippodrome in his first Italian Championship as élite, Colledani has scored four victories last December in Schlanders (Italy), Bozen (Italy), Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and San Fior (Italy), before finishing third at Memorial Romano Scotti in Rome. "I will aim for victory in Milan. I respect all my rivals, but I don't fear them. I feel confident and motivated, I like the course and I don't have any pressure: I can pursue my goal with serenity" Colledani explains.
Four-time cyclocross Italian champion (2012, 2014, 2017 and 2018), coming off from two victories in a row in the Women's U23 series, Chiara Teocchi will look for glory in Women's Elite race for the first time. "I trained well and I get to the Italian Championships in a good shape, and with increased motivation after my recent wins. I think we can expect a fast race. My main rivals are Eva Lechner and Alice Maria Arzuffi: I've never faced with them this leason, but I'm serene and confident in the good job I’ve done"
Women's Elite, U23 and Junior race will start at 10.40 AM, whilst Men's Elite one will begin at 2.45 PM.
