Nadir Colledani and Chiara Teocchi will inaugurate their new racing year on Sunday, January 6th. The Team Bianchi Countervail riders will take in Memorial Romano Scotti, 10th Giro d'Italia Ciclocross' sixth and final round to be held at Rome's Capannelle Hippodrome. On the occasion, Colledani and Teocchi will wear the new jersey showing a new two-color vertical design, half in Bianchi celeste, half in black.
Teocchi will take in Women's Open race at 12.20 pm, whilst Colledani will start in the Men's Open race one hour later. Like their rivals, Team Bianchi Countervail's riders will make their dress rehearsal in view of the CX Italian Championships to be held in Milan's Idroscalo on Sunday, January 13th.
In December Colledani scored four victories in as many Trofeo Triveneto's rounds in Schlanders (Italy), Bozen (Italy), Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and San Fior (Italy). After Schlanders and Bozen, Teocchi claimed victory at Ciclocross della Vigilia in Lurago d'Erba (Italy) instead.
The Team Bianchi Countervail is equipped with the following models:
•    Methanol CV, the first ever mountain bike frame enhanced with the innovative and exclusive Bianchi CV System powered by Countervail, assuring a total “After-Shock Control” by eliminating vibrations that pass through the suspension after impact and from trail buzz
•    Methanol 29 FS, full-suspension model with racing geometry
•    Zolder Pro disc, developed to obtain the best performance in specific cyclo-cross conditions, combining lightweight and resistance
