Tempier runner up at Coupe de France VTT in Ussel

Team Bianchi Countervail's Frenchman finished the race two seconds behind Carod. Colledani seventh in Austria

Stephane Tempier (Team Bianchi Countervail) placed second in Coupe de France VTT round 3 in Ussel (France) on Sunday, May 6th. Equipped with Methanol 29.1 FS, the 32-year-old rider from Gap completed his effort in 1:31:01, only two second behind Titouan Carod after a thrilling head to head. Joshua Dubau rounded out the podium. "An exciting head-to-head, I'm satisfied with my result and performance in view of the World Cup. I grazed a victory, but Carod was able to outsprint me" explained Tempier.
On the same day Team Bianchi Countervai'ls Nadir Colledani was seventh in 1:28:02 at the Grazer Bike Opening Stattegg in Stattegg (Austria). Ninth position for Marco Aurelio Fontana in Rye Mountain Bike Festival's final round, a XCO race in Oslo (Norway). The Prorider finished the race in 1:19:34.
Twenty-hours earlier Team Bianchi Countervail's Chiara Teocchi had ridden Methanol CV to her first MTB seasonal win at Scott Valdarda Bike, Bresciacup 2018 round-3 in Lugagnano Val d’Arda (Italy), ahead of élite Eva Lechner and under 23 Francesca Saccu.
Bianchi supplies the team with two high end carbon models with racing geometry: the revolutionary Methanol CV and Methanol 29.1 FS (full suspension). The Junior Team is equipped with Methanol 29 SX model.
